Jalapeño Shrimp Salad

Jalapeño Shrimp Salad is a delightful blend of flavors. A unique combination of vegetables, shrimp, and a homemade lemon/lime salad dressing. This is a tasty yet simple salad to make at home as a summer salad.

Jalapeño Shrimp Salad is a combination of cooked shrimp, jalapeños, tomato, cilantro, and red onion mixed with a homemade lemon/lime salad dressing. 

Fresh vegetable ingredients are best for this vegetable-based salad. 

Ingredients Details

Shrimp: Great Value Cooked Shrimp Medium
Jalapeños peppers: La costeña pickled Jalapeños peppers
Cilantro: fresh cilantro
Onion: red onion; alternative: white or yellow onion
Tomatoes: Roma tomatoes
Dressing
Olive oil: Italica olive oil; alternatives: avocado or sunflower oil
Lemon: fresh lemon; alternative lemon juice
Lime: fresh lime; alternative lime juice
Salt: sea salt; alternative plain salt


Ingredients

  • ½ cup shrimp
  • 4 pickled jalapeño peppers
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • ½ cup red onion
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ lemon (lemon juice)
  • 1 lime (lime juice)
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

Cut the ingredients. Cut the shrimp, jalapeños, cilantro, onion, and tomatoes.

Lemon & lime. Squeeze the lemon and lime for fresh juice.

Bowl. In a bowl, add the cut shrimp and vegetable ingredients, then add the lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, and salt. Mix all the ingredients, then refrigerate the salad.
