Jugo de Nopal (Cactus Juice)

Jugo de nopal (cactus juice) is a blend of fresh nopal, orange, pineapple, and water. Nopal is the essential ingredient in this juice. If you don’t grow nopales, you can opt to purchase them at a local Latin supermarket, where they are pre-packaged, cleaned, and peeled.

Ingredients Details

Nopal: fresh, peeled nopal (cactus paddle)
Orange: Navel orange or any sweet orange
Pineapple: fresh pineapple; alternative: frozen pineapple or canned pineapple
Water: filtered water



   




Ingredients

  • 1 peeled nopal
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

Cut ingredients. Cut the nopal, orange, and pineapple into small pieces. 

Blender. In a blender, add the cut ingredients and water. Blend until smooth.
