Green Cake

Green cake is a delicious and simple cake to make at home. Inspired by St. Patrick’s Day, this green cake is a soft and lightly sweet dessert to savor. 

This green cake is made with a white cake mix and added green food coloring. For this cake recipe, I used a round baking pan. You can opt to add the cake mixture to a different shape and size baking pan if desired. 

Ingredients Details

Cake mix: white cake mix
Eggs: white eggs
Water: filtered water
Cooking oil: vegetable oil
Food coloring: green food coloring 

               

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons green food coloring

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cake mixture. In a bowl, add the white cake mix, eggs, water, vegetable oil, and food coloring. Mix all the ingredients.

Baking pan. Add the cake mixture to a round baking pan.

Bake. Bake the cake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
