Marable Chocolate & White Cupcakes

Marble chocolate and white cupcakes are tasty treats. These plain soft cupcakes without frosting are a great, mildly sweet dessert to enjoy without overly sweet frosting.   

Marble chocolate and white cupcakes are a mixture of dark chocolate cake mix and light white cake mix, creating a unique blend of two different cake batters. The combination of the dark and light colors creates a visually beautiful marble appearance. 

Ingredients Details

Cake mixes: white and chocolate mixes
Eggs: white eggs
Milk: Half & Half; alternative whole milk, heavy cream, or plant milk
Cooking oil: vegetable oil 




Ingredients

  • 1 cup white cake mix
  • ½ cup chocolate cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Half and Half
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Cupcakes

White cake mixture. In a bowl, add the white cake mix, eggs, half and half, and vegetable oil. Whisk until creamy.

White and chocolate cake mixture. In a bowl, pour half the white cake mixture. Then pour in the chocolate cake mix. Whisk until creamy. 

Cupcake tray. In a cupcake tray, place the cupcake liners. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with the white cake mixture. Then fill the cupcake liner with the white and chocolate cake mixture. Use a knife to swirl the cupcake mixture, creating a marble look.

Large cupcake

Oven-safe bowl. Add the remaining cake mixture to an oven-safe bowl.

Bake. Bake the cupcakes for 10-15 minutes.
