Pumpkin Smoothie

 Fall is the perfect time for pumpkin recipes. The pumpkin smoothie is a popular smoothie for this season. It has a delicious, creamy, and smooth texture. An excellent smoothie to make this fall season. 




The pumpkin smoothie is a smoothie made with pumpkin purée then combined with milk, yogurt, bananas, and spices.

For this pumpkin smoothie, I used oat milk. You can opt to use whole milk or any other plant-based milk. For the yogurt, I added vanilla Greek yogurt to add a sweeter flavor to the smoothie. Plain Greek yogurt works well too. Any type of banana should be fine as the banana provides a thicker texture to the smoothie. The frozen bananas add a creamy base to the pumpkin smoothie. Cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices are great spices to add to this pumpkin smoothie. Feel free to add other spices to the smoothie.

In a blender, add the pumpkin purée, then add the remaining ingredients: milk, yogurt, the spices and frozen bananas. Blend until smoothie. The taste of the pumpkin is easily tasted in this creamy smoothie. It’s delicious and is now one of my favorite smoothies.



Ingredients

 cup pumpkin purée

1 ½ cup of oat milk

2 frozen baby bananas

2 teaspoons vanilla Greek yogurt 

¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

¼ ground cinnamon



Instructions

In a blender, add the pumpkin purée, oat milk, bananas, vanilla Greek yogurt, pumpkin pie spice and ground cinnamon.

Blend until smooth.
