Ingredients
- 2 tilapia fillets
- 1 coconut milk can
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 green papaya
- 1 green bell pepper
- ½ cup cilantro
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 white onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 tablespoon Badia Amarillo food coloring
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Defrost the tilapia fillets, if needed.
Green papaya. Peel the green papaya. Then cut the green papaya into cubes. Cook the papaya till tender. Once the papaya is tender, drain the papaya.
Cut ingredients. Cut the Green bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, onion, and tomato into small pieces.
Combine all the ingredients. Add the following ingredients to the cooked papaya and combine:
- Tilapia fillets (no need to cut the fillets; the fish will crumble while cooking).
- green bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, onion, and tomato.
- can of coconut milk
- lemon juice
- olive oil
- yellow food coloring
- salt
- black pepper
Cook all the ingredients on low-medium heat for 15 minutes. Let the stew cool, then serve.
