Cod fish empanadas are an appetizing and tasty pastry. Empanadas
are a soft and slightly crispy snack or appetizer that can also be enjoyed as a main
dish. Made with savory filling, these codfish empanadas are great to enjoy at
home.
Empanadas are a well-known dish in Latin America. They are
popular street foods found throughout Central and South America but have also
become very popular in the United States.
Empanadas are half-moon turnovers with beef, chicken, or fish filling that are frequently fried but can also be baked. These fish empanadas are filled with cod fish
filling and then deep-fried. The empanada dough can be made from scratch, or you
can buy the dough discs ready from the supermarket. For this recipe, to save
time, I purchased empanada discos from the Latin market.
