- 5 apples
- ¼ cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
Apples. Cut the apples into cubed pieces.
Cook. In a skillet, cook the apples in water
over low-medium heat. Stir occasionally until they begin to soften. Then add
the butter, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Then slowly mix the
apples and the ingredients. Cook until the apples have softened and the ingredients have coated all the cubed apples.
Serve the sautéed apples with a scoop of vanilla ice
cream, if desired.
